Littleton Green celebrated St Andrew’s Day by wearing blue accessories. The children took part in a variety of activities, such as colouring Scottish flags, designing their own tartan and learning the Highland Fling. They learnt that the saint was one of Jesus’ disciples and witnessed the feeding of the five thousand. Did you know that Saint Andrew officially became Scotland’s patron saint in 1320? The children learnt lots of interesting facts and were respectful towards others’ opinions.
We are PURPLE! (with a touch of blue)
