Each week, a group of Year 3 children have been taking part in Forest School sessions at Hednesford Park. During these sessions, they have been participating in a variety of activities such as weaving willow fences to protect the surrounding plants and flowers. In addition to this, they have been digging and collecting bark chippings to scatter around the play area to make it safe. The children have also have potted new seeds ready for planting around the park. Both Miss Scanlan and Mr. Preece are extremely PROUD of each individual child for their incredibly hard work and their huge commitment and dedication towards helping our local park.
Mrs. Lynn Evans (Community Officer for parks and open space) presented all of the children with a certificate and a medal to congratulate and celebrate their super work at Hednesford Park. Well done to both staff and children for being LOVING and helping out one of our local parks!
We are PURPLE!
