From
the Principal

I have been Principal at Littleton Green Community School since 2006 which is judged as Good by OFSTED.  I have taught in every primary age range and served on several Governing bodies.  Littleton Green was the last design and build capital primary school in Staffordshire and I was on the project board and design team.

I have always encouraged our school to be the centre of a community to which we won a competition for “Teaching Today” for our work to encourage dads into school.  Littleton Green currently runs a school childcare provision, a pre-school provision and their own cooking kitchen. We also have lots of organisations and external agencies that use the school buildings.

I was the chair of the local head teachers group from 2008 to 2015 and organised speakers and professional development for this group, I have also represented the district on the Staffordshire Heads Forum.

My aim is to make our school a centre of excellence in teaching and learning and for it to be a happy place with a caring atmosphere.  The school strives to be the centre of a learning community and the staff work hard to build on children’s skills so that they can become confident, independent and self-motivated.
