Metaphors

This week in year 4 we have been learning about metaphors.

A metaphor is describing an object as a real person.

'The soldier was as tall as a tower' this is an example of a metaphor.

Walked Barat

In literacy we walked Barat on the bike track and we had to use our senses to feel and smell things and then we wrote a recount of what we did .

Andy warhol

We chose pictures of every day objects and used artistic effects layering colours and enhancements to crerate a digital picture in the style of Andy warhol and the popart mavement .

Decimals

In year 4 we have been learning about decimals. How to divide one and two digit numbers by 10 and 100 here we have used the dienes to help us.
